About Us

The reason that Bill Conforti has been an industry leader in the Chicago renovation and remodeling business is his unimpeachable ethics, honesty, and integrity. As a former CYO flyweight boxing champion, he poured the same dedication and focus he showed in the ring into his first company, Siding-1 Windows and Exteriors. Over the next 26 years, the company that started in his garage on 3301 N Southport blossomed into a multi-million dollar business, due to his solid reputation and devotion to customer satisfaction. In 1995, he formed Cobblestone Development and expanded his area of expertise, serving thousands of clients in the Chicagoland area with the same dedication to excellence that has defined his personal life and professional career. Bill owned and managed both businesses simultaneously until he sold Siding-1 in 2012, in order to concentrate on Cobblestone Development.

Bill’s philosophy has always been to be a good person and communicate honestly with his customers.

Because of his team’s excellent reputation and skill in the construction industry, Cobblestone Development was hand-picked to be part of the team that built the Robert Sessions Home (located on Loomis and Harrison.)

As a result of Bill’s personal philanthropy and community-building efforts, the 3000 block of North Clybourn where Cobblestone Development is located was named “Honorary Bill Conforti Way,” and unveiled by Alderman Joe Moreno in 2011.

When Bill Conforti isn’t working on the perfect remodeling solution for Cobblestone Development’s latest project, he is sponsoring and supporting the Hamlin Park Boxing program and other organizations that benefit Chicago youth.  He also serves on the board of the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame and acts as co-chairman for all of their boxing events.
